1.Select the equation.

2.Delete the equation in one of the following ways:

•On the Toolbar, in the Equation section, click  Delete Equation.

•Right-click to open the context menu and select Delete Equation.

•Press Delete or Backspace.

You can also use the keyboard shortcuts intended to delete the text in order to delete the equation.
